Hampta Pass Trek

Hampta pass is present in the Pir Panjal Himalayan Range at an elevation of about 14,039 ft i.e 4270 m above the mean sea level. The Hampta Pass trek route got its name from the Hampta village which is usually a small village. The Hampta Pass trekking route requires 4 to 5 days to complete. The total trekking distance is about 35 km and the difficulty level of the Hampta Pass trekking route is considered Moderate. The best time for the trekkers for trekking in Hampton Pass trekking route is between Mid of June to September. Major attractions of the trekking route are beautiful grasslands and valleys, Balu ka Ghera, Shea Goru, Chatru, Chandra Tal, Chika and Rohtang Pass.

Triund Trek

The first on our list is the Triund Trekking route which is located in Dharamkot of the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at an altitude of 7700 ft above the mean sea level. Triund is basically a small village and the presence of beautiful landscapes and biodiversity around it led to the establishment of the Triund trekking routes. People refer to the Triund trekking route as Mcleod Ganj and Crown of Dharamsala. Triund trekking route is just 14 km long and is considered usually one of the shortest trekking routes found in Himachal Pradesh.   And the best time to visit the Triund trekking route is between March to December. Attractions of this trek are the Highest Waterfall of Mcleodganj, Kangra Valley, beautiful sunrise, forests, etc.

Kheerganga Trek

Kheerganga trekking route is found in the Kasol region of Himachal Pradesh. The highest trekking altitude of the Kheerganga Trekking route is 9,600 ft above the mean sea level. The total trekking length is about 14 km. Barshaini is considered the starting point of the trekking route. The difficulty level is taken as a moderate one. Major attractions include high mountain peaks, grasslands, and meadows, streams, Parvati river, Tosh river, Parvati Kund, etc.

Bhrigu lake Trek

Bhrigu lake trekking route is present in the Manali of  Himachal Pradesh. Bhrigu lake trekking route derived its name from the Bhrigu lake which is located at an altitude of  14,100 ft above the mean sea level. The total trekking length is 26 km and is considered a moderate level of difficulty in trekking.  Major places or spots to visit are Kulang, Chor Nallah, Kohli Nallah, Moridugh, Manali, etc. The trekking takes 3 to 4 days to complete.

Indrahar Pass Trek

Indrahar Pass trekking route is located in Mcleodganj at an elevation of 14,245 ft above the mean sea level. The total trekking length is about 35 km. Major places of attractions: Triund Peak, Lahesh cave, Ilaqa Got, Dhauladhar range view, Mcleodganj, etc.

Pin Parvati Trek

Pin Parvati is located in between the Spiti valley and Kullu valley in Himachal Pradesh. The total trekking length is about 110 km, one of the longest treks present in Himachal Pradesh. The highest altitude of the trekking route is 17,450 ft above the mean sea level. Major attractions: waterfalls, valleys, grasslands, wildflowers, mountains, etc.

Laka Glacier Trek

Laka Glacier trek has a total trekking length of about 13 km and is considered easy for trekking. The starting point of the trek is BhagsuNag and will take almost 3 days to complete.

Friendship Peak trek

Present at an altitude of 17,353 ft in the Pir Panjal ranges of Himachal. The total trekking length is 34 km and will take 9 to 10 days to complete. Major attractions are Pir Panjal ranges, Dhauladhar ranges, Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba, etc.

Malana Trek

The Malana Trekking route requires 5 to 6 days to complete the trekking. Major attractions of the trekking route are Tripura Sundari, Gowrishankar temple, Peaks like Ali Ratna, Deo Tibba, Hanuman Tibba etc.

Pin Bhaba Pass Trek

Pin Bhaba pass trekking route is located at an altitude of about 16,125 ft above the mean sea level. The trekking distance is about 48 km and it takes 7 to 8 days to complete the trekking. Major attractions are Karah meadows, Chandratal Lake, Kafnu village, Mulling, Pushtirang. Much, Kaza, balder, etc.
